Coconut macaroons I saw this recipe with the Jell-O booklet that I bought at Walmart. I saw the coconut macaroons recipe and it reminds me when I was young, I always hang out with one of my friend’s house and one day her sister is baking coconut macaroons and it’s really good. The coconut macaroons from Jell-O booklet recipe is the first one that I tried to bake just mix and drop like a cookie and it taste good. I keep on researching different version of coconut macaroons that will be the same with the coconut macaroons that I have tasted when I was young. I think the new version of coconut macaroons kind of the same but of course the original is the best. Here’s the recipe.
Coconut macaroons Ingredients:
2 eggs
¼ cup sugar
1/3 cup butter, melted
1 can sweetened condensed milk
1 tsp. vanilla extract
½ cup all-purpose flour
½ tsp. baking powder
2 cups sweet desiccated coconut
Method:
Preheat oven to 350°F and lined cupcake liners.
Whisk the eggs until light and frothy, add the sugar and melted butter, then whisk until sugar is completed dissolved. Add the sweetened condensed milk and vanilla extract, and then whisk until well blended.
Add the all-purpose flour and baking powder and mix well, then fold the coconut.
Bake macaroons for at least 10-15 min., until brown on top.
