It was 2019 when my husband bought me new Ford Explorer. We got the car year 2018. I am happy, excited I got a new car. I always clean the inside of the car, wash the car by myself. It was 2021 when I noticed that when I start the car engine the fan went on, and then I smell stinks coming from the fan, not fresh air coming from my car. Then I searched on the internet what causes bad smell when you start the car, many answers popped up but one reason that has really answered my question is the cabin air filter is dirty and it needs to change the cabin air filter. Do many people know that there is cabin air filter inside the globe box of the car? I did not know that either. This month, I keep on searching on YouTube on how to change cabin air filter. Two weeks ago I ordered the cabin air filter that fits for my Ford Explorer, and yesterday I did change my cabin air filter on my own and I saved money for the service in changing cabin air filter. After I change the old cabin air filter, the air smells fresh. That is a good job for me. Success!.
