Peach Cobbler is one the popular dessert here in Texas. My
husband and I like peach cobbler. I made peach cobbler to sell at farmers
market and it’s always sold out. A balance of right amount peaches and right amount of dough is the secret
of my peach cobbler. Some peach cobbler that we ordered from the restaurant or
some take out restaurant majority of their peach cobbler is really doughy not
much peaches mix in it. My recipe is homemade peach cobbler recipe. I want to share
with you so that you can make your own peach cobbler for your family. I promise;

Ingredients:
1 stick butter
1 ½ cups self-rising flour
½ cup water
2 cups divided sugar
4 cups peeled and sliced peaches
1 ½ cups milk
Pinch of ground cinnamon
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350°F.
Combine the peaches, 1 cup sugar, water in a saucepan, mix
well. Let is simmer for 10 minutes, then remove from heat.
Put the butter in a 9x13” aluminum pan and place in oven to
melt.
Mix the remaining 1 cup sugar, flour, milk slowly to prevent
clumping. Pour mixture over melted butter. Do not stir.
Spoon fruit on top, gently pouring in syrup. Sprinkle top
with ground cinnamon, the batter will rise to top during baking.
Bake for 30 to 45 minutes.
Serve with vanilla ice cream. Happy Eating!!!
