Creamy Tuna Hand Pie for family snack. My creamy tuna hand pie is creamy and delicious because of mushroom cream. A combination of delicious tuna pie filling and pie dough that melts in your mouth. Tuna pie recipe is a snack for all season. Here is the recipe.
CREAMY TUNA HAND PIE RECIPE
Tuna Filling
Ingredients:
1/2 cup oil
1 cup diced potato
1 tbp. galic
1/4 cup onion
1 cup diced carrots
1/4 cup milk
1 pc. red bell pepper
1/4 cup water
1/4 cup raisins
2 cans albacore tuna 255 mg
1 can cream of mushroom
4 tbps. mayonaise
Pie dough
1 1/3 cups flour
7 tbps. cold butter cubed
1 egg yolk
2-3 tbsps. of cold water
Procedure
Filling:
In a sauce pan pour oil and fry the dice potato until the potato turn brown. Take out the browned dice potato and set aside. Pour some of the oil to a bowl.
Saute the onion and garlic.
Then add carrots, milk, bell pepper, water and raisins until carrots are soft.
Add the tuna, cream of mushrooms and fried potota.
Continue stirring untill fully incorporated.
Remove the heat then transfer the cooked filling to a bowl, let it cool. When it cooled you can add mayonaise.
Pie dough:
Add all pid dough ingredients into a blender until blender turns clean let the dough refrigerate for 30 minutes, then it will be ready to use fill up with tuna filling.
Pre-heat oven for 400°F. Then bake the tuna pie for 15 mins.
