Bread Pudding Pinoy Style



I love bread pudding even many people said that bread pudding is the recycling recipe of a stale bread. I always buy bread pudding when I go to bakery it really tastes good. I just searched bread pudding recipe online to try it myself, if I can create the same bread pudding that I tasted before. This bread pudding recipe from Sarap Pinoy recipe. It is the same taste of bread pudding that I was buying at the bakery when I was young. Of course, I’m not using bread that is really, really old. The bread I used is a bit early for its expiration date. I made this bread pudding night time and I ate too much. Anyway, I would like to share this bread pudding recipe by Sarap Pinoy. Hope you enjoy!



 

BREAD PUDDING RECIPE

Ingredients:

15 pcs bread, cut bread to cubes

3 eggs

1 can condensed milk

1 can evaporated milk

1/2 cup sugar

1/4  Tbsps melted butter

2 tsp vanilla extract

1/2 cup raisins (it's my addition to the recipe)


Instructions:

Pre heat the oven at 350°F

In a mixing bowl put all the ingredients and let it soak for 15 minutes

Put pudding batter into square pan

Bake it for 35 to 45 minutes

Check for toothpick test for doneness, if the toothpick is clean, it is done. Let it cool down before cut into slices

Raisin Bread Pudding Recipe w/ Caramel Sauce



Raisin Bread Pudding is a recipe that gives life to stale bread. I have watched tv, and the guest chef was talking about how to make bread pudding. The chef said you can make bread pudding even if your bread is not stale yet just put the bread on the pan and let the bread dry. He said you can use any bread or donut. The chef made bread pudding recipe and he used donut. Happy bread pudding everyone.

EASY RAISIN BREAD PUDDING w/ CARAMEL SAUCE


Ingredients:


16 slices bread, cubed

1 cup raisins

4 large eggs slightly beaten

2 cans evaporated milk

¾ cup brown sugar

¼ cup melted butter

2 tsps vanilla extract

1 tsp ground cinnamon

½ tsp ground nutmeg

Caramel sauce (homemade or you can buy at the store)


Procedure:


Preheat the oven @ 350°F.


In a large bowl mix all the ingredients except the bread.


Then pour the milk mixture into the sliced bread and mix so all the bread has mixed well.


Pour the bread pudding into the pan.


Bake it for 45 mins.

RAISIN BREAD PUDDING


Are you looking for good partner of your coffee? Well bread pudding is one of the favorite bread partner for your coffee. Bread pudding will be savory or sweet which many of us been familiar with. Many people have different version on how to make their bread pudding.

Wikipedia's meaning of bread pudding - Bread pudding is a bread-based dessert popular in many countries' cuisines, made with stale bread and milk or cream, generally containing eggs, a form of fat such as oil, butter or suet, and depending on whether the pudding is sweet or savory, a variety of other ingredients


Yes, bread pudding is giving stale bread a chance to be reborn, just kidding. And now I have bread pudding too. A raisin bread pudding, actually it's Nestle's Raisin Bread Pudding Recipe. I just want to share with you.



INGREDIENTS:



16   slices bread, cubed

1     cup raisins
2     evaporated milk
4     large eggs, slightly beaten
3/4  cup packed brown sugar
1/4  cup melted butter
2     tsps. vanilla extract
1     tsp. ground cinnamon
1/2  tsp. ground nutmeg
Caramel sauce (optional)


INSTRUCTIONS:



Preheat oven 350°F. Grease 12 x 8 inch baking dish.


Combine bread and raisins in large bowl.


Combined evaporated milk, eggs, sugar, butter, vanilla extract, cinnamon and nutmeg in medium bowl.



Pour egg mixture over bread mixture combine well. 



Pour mixture into prepared baking dish. Let stand for 10 minutes.



Bake for 35 to 45 minutes or until knife inserted in center comes out clean. Mine I baked it for 35 minutes just right. 



Drizzle with caramel sauce before serving. Mine just forgot to put caramel but caramel make a big difference.
